Quiz” is the epitome of a Golden Retriever: sweet, steady, and eager to please. His resilient temperament and happy-go-lucky nature make him a joy to work and live with.  No matter what you’re doing he wants to be involved and is ready to play the game with enthusiasm.  He gets along with every dog he meets, big or small and lives at home with 3 other

intact males.

     Quiz finished his Can Championship easily with limited showing. He is well-proportioned with a balanced, moderate build, beautiful and effortless movement, and a proper wash‑and‑wear coat that dries quickly and sheds dirt and burs easily.  His masculine yet refined head and soft expression perfectly reflect the breed standard.  He stands 22 1/2” tall

and 68 lbs. with dark eye and beautiful dark pigment.

     Quiz has tons of natural talent in the field, earning his Senior Hunter title in 4 straight tests just after he turned 2.  He is a good marker and team player on blinds, loves his birds, has an impressive water entry and powerful swimmer.  He is trained through Utility in obedience, and we were going to make his obedience debut at the end of 2025, but unfortunately, he sustained a severed Achilles tendon on the stairs of a dog pool.  His career has been put on hold indefinitely, but we may end up switching gears to tracking and nose work while we work on rebuilding some tendon strength since this boy loves to work.  Through everything he has endured since the injury, his tail has not stopped wagging, and his sweet personality has shone through.  He is a very special boy!
